Directions
Palo Alto is on the San Francisco Peninsula, near the bay, about midway between San Francisco and San Jose, and also midway between Highway 101 and Highway 280 (the two main traffic arteries for the peninsula). Remember we are in the southern part of Palo Alto, just a few blocks south of the Oregon Expressway. Gryphon is about 2 miles south of downtown Palo Alto, and less than a half mile south of the California Avenue shopping district, which many decades ago was the wild and reckless town of Mayfield. If you are taking the train, we're about a ten minute walk from the California Ave. station.

From Hwy 101: Take Oregon Expressway 2 miles to El Camino Real. Make a U-turn back onto the same road, & take the second possible right turn onto Park. Straight ahead to the traffic barrier at Park & Lambert. We're right across from a Mercedes dealership.

From Hwy 280: Take the Page Mill Road exit and go 2 miles to El Camino Real. Cross El Camino and take the second possible right turn onto Park. Straight ahead to the traffic barrier at Park and Lambert.

From El Camino South: (Mtn. View, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, etc.) Go North on El Camino. Cross Charleston Road. After Margarita Ave., before you get to Page Mill Road, watch for the Boston Market restaurant on the right. Take the next right turn on Lambert Avenue, and go to the end. Lambert only runs between El Camino and Park Blvd.

From El Camino North: (downtown Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, etc.) Go south and turn left at California Ave. Go 3 blocks, and take the last right turn onto Park and go all the way to the traffic barrier at Park and Lambert.

posted Dec 04, 2012

Using a patented design, these Lock-It straps eliminate the hassle of using metal strap locks to keep your instrument securely connected to your strap, and to you. You don't have to put special strap buttons on your instruments, and you can switch to a conventional strap whenever you want. Lock-It straps are made in the USA, and are currently available from the Gryphon Mercantile.
