If you've had a hankering for real double-strung bass response, this Santa Cruz mandocello will be a thrill as it delivers bass notes you can feel as much as hear. And you wouldn't have to restrict your tuning choice to the standard mandocello, since the string scale is pretty standard (24 7/8") with some string gauge homework this could be tuned like the top four strings of a guitar (doubled) or even a double-strung tenor, there are lots of options.
This has been played, there's light finger/pick wear to the top where a pickguard would be if it had one and a few other small dings. Frets have little wear. The flame maple chosen for the back & sides is stunning, and the two piece maple neck is a nice touch.
Comes with the original TKL case.
