Julius Borges OM
This guitar has an Adirondack spuce top and Indian rosewood
back and sides. As with all of his guitars, Julius builds
with hot animal hide glue, shellac sealer coats beneath nitrocellulose
lacquer, and the results can be heard as well as seen. With
the pyramid bridge and no pickguard, this guitar is much like
the very first OM-28 models that Martin made for Perry Bechtel.
in late 1928 and early 1929.
