Julius Borges 12-fret
000
Julius Borges builds Martin-like instruments, but with
some significant differences when comparing his work to
guitars by others who build in a similar style. He not only
uses Adirondack Spruce tops and wood purfling, he also uses
hot animal hide glue for all stages of construction. This
12-fret with solid headstock is patterned after a few 000
models that Martin made in the same style in the early 1930s.
This one has Indian Rosewood back and sides.
