Santa Cruz H 13 Custom Koa/Cedar

Quite a list of extras on this one, as Willie and the SCGC crew must have sat around for awhile in an informal "design session." Nicely figured koa sides, back, and matching headplate (headstock overlay to some of you), with a cedar top. Rosewood binding with SCGC FS model purfling, showing a subtle blue color around the face and soundhole. SCGC Vintage tuners with ebony buttons. The 13 frets clear design puts the bridge lower in the soundboard for optimum tone and volume, and still makes the octave fret easier to reach, since at that postion you're not bumping into the body of the guitar. The deep body delivers lots of bass for such a comparitively small guitar, while the koa and cedar add a nice warm midrange and plenty of treble. Nicely appointed from top to bottom, with not a bit of plastic in sight anywhere.
