Santa Cruz OM Adirondack

This Santa Cruz OM is the result of a collaboration between Gryphon's singer/songwriter/Folk Guitar Workshops instructor, Carol McComb, and Richard Hoover, owner/founder of SCGC. Enough hyphenated titles for you? I hope so. Carol has been playing SCGC OM models for over 20 years, and has one of their earliest examples. A few years ago she added a second one as well. For her own SCGC OM to be sold at Gryphon she chose Indian Rosewood back and sides and an Adirondack top, selected from Gryphon's stash. An abalone rosette and bordering decorate the top, with style 42 fretboard snowflakes. Fossilized ivory end pin, bridge pins, and saddle complete the package. Oh, and Waverly tuners. The extra stiffness of Adirondack really works well with Santa Cruz top bracing, and the result is a guitar with both warmth and definition.
