Custom Santa Cruz Adirondack/Wavy Mahogany Vintage Artist

Here's another guitar made from that great batch of wavy mahogany that Frank scored from Allied Luthiery in Healdsburg, matched it with an Adirondack top. Willie delivered the wood and gave his famous "luthier's pep talk" to the guys at SCGC, and the result is a mahogany dreadnought that just might make you swear off rosewood forever!

The Vintage Artist has some nice, subtle touches, such as the tiny dots on the fretboard, and an elegantly bound headstock with Brazilian rosewood overlay. As usual, we tried to make sure the wood had a chance to speak for itself, and whether you're a decorative tone-wood fanatic or a picker in search of a powerhouse guitar, this 'Cruz fills the bill.
