Collings C-10 Cowboy
This instrument is NOT in stock but a similar instrument may be. It is an example of a Collings instrument that we have had in the past. You can check our inventory for a similar instrument or call us and we'll do our best to get a similar model for you.

This is the second C-10 Collings Cowboy built. Gryphon didn't get the first one simply because they kept it. We showed Steve McCreary of Collings a rough sketch of this design at the 1999 Nashville NAMM show, then put artist Bob Armstrong together with Collings and the project took off from there. We were especially impressed with the subtle shading John Alison added around the perimeter of the top. Steve has displayed #1 at several NAMM shows since, collecting photos of the guitar industry's top movers and shakers wearing a kiddie cowboy hat while playing the guitar. Bob Taylor and Paul Reed Smith are just a few of the personalities captured on film acting like goofy kids with a cowboy guitar. It was also featured on the Great Acoustics page of Acoustic Guitar Magazine, and is shown in the Cowboy Guitars chapter of their new book, Vintage Guitars.

You can also go see some pages with other musical art by Bob Armstrong.
