Gryphon's Day in Texas at the Collings Factory

Collings makes some of our favorite guitars and mandolins. We wanted to see where it all happened so on May 18, Richard and Frank spent the day at the Collings guitar factory in Austin, Texas. Outside, the weather was typical summer - you know, hot and HUMID. Inside the climate contolled factory, Frank spent the day with the craftsmen, photographing techniques, tools and setups, while Richard picked through sets of exotic hardwood backs and sides to find extra good materials for some of our next instruments.
