(1970) Fender Concert Tone Walnut (US Made)

What we have here is an interesting, high quality banjo. About thirty years ago, Fender bought the Salstrom banjo company of Illinois. For a few years, they continued to make high quality banjos under the Fender name. This banjo has a slim, fast action neck that is quite comfortable. This instrument is in excellent condition for it's age. There are two blemishes on the fretboard near the capo where spikes used to be. The gold plating shows some signs of tarnishing, but the shell is in incredible shape. If you are looking for a sharp and snappy sounding banjo, this one will put a smile on your face.

Shell: Walnut
Neck: Walnut
Fretboard: Rosewood
