One look at the back and sides of this guitar and it's clear why Madagascar rosewood has become such a popular alternative wood since Brazilian rosewood has achieved relative un-obtanium status within the last few years. This guitar has gorgeous figure and grain muscling that is seen in some of the most desirable Brazilian rosewood.
Tonally, this guitar has incredible, lush sustain mated with superb volume and clarity. While the term "balanced" is applied liberally when describing acoustic guitar tone, this remarkable guitar has a remarkably good mix of treble, bass and midrange.
