Derek is another of our multi-faceted employees, and you'll hear lots of his playing on our sound files of both acoustic and electric guitars. He's familiar with all kinds of acoustic music gear as well as vintage guitars and amps. Derek is a regular contributor to the Fretboard Journal, Acoustic Guitar and other publications. He writes the blogs "Guitars-a-Go-Go," "Derek's Daily 45" and "The Record Collector's Journal." He plays guitar in the band The Bang and also tours the world as guitar technician for the legendary James Williamson, lead guitarist with Iggy & The Stooges. | |
