The F-9 is one of Martin’s rarest guitars. They only made 71 of them before they stopped production because of World War II, which is too bad because these are fine sounding instruments that deserve to played by a wider range of musicians. During the 1970s a handful of F-9s were converted into flattops so we don’t know how many have retained their carved tops but the general consensus is that fewer than 50 original examples still exist.  More details »
