Details
This is a one-owner Deering Maple Blossom in excellent and original condition with a few exceptions: One is the real pearl truss rod cover, another is the addition of a pair of gold Schaller D-tuners (Scruggs pegs). The last change are the small holes drilled in the fingerboard binding along the 5th string from the 7th to 12th frets. These were for a clip that fit into the holes and served as a 5th string capo. Alas the clip has gone missing, so the next owner can decide if they want to use a sliding 5th string capo or "spikes" in the fingerboard (we can install either option).
There's very little finish wear, minor fret wear to the first 3 or 4 frets but there's a lot of miles left in this banjo's neck before any fret work will be needed.
