Details
The Junior was Gibson’s most affordable Les Paul, but even with a single pickup, you could spend a lifetime exploring the subtle variations in tone this guitar is capable of. This example was crafted in 1959 and it’s come down to us in fine structural condition. Thanks to a recent top-notch refret and the near-legendary '59 neck profile, this LP Junior is the kind of vintage guitar you can't put down. The stuff that matters is original, such as the P-90 pickup, pots, and wiring, plus the finish. (The original cherry red finish is a bit faded on the top but the back and sides still retain most of the original color.) The tailpiece has been replaced (the original is long gone) and the tuners are aged Kluson reissues but the original Klusons were saved and are in the case. We hope you can come in and try this Gibson, "played a '59 Les Paul the other day" is always a line to break the ice at parties! Includes a recent import hardshell case.
