This ‘51 Nocaster was crafted in Fender’s Custom Shop in 2001. It features the Closet Classic level of aging, which means it has a lightly checked finish, a small ding here and there, oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts. This guitar has a large U-shaped maple neck, an ash body and a single-ply black pickguard. Overall, this guitar is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The frets show just a light amount of wear. This guitar has a Fender tweed “thermometer” case but the COA, “ashtray” pickup cover and other bits of case candy are long gone.
