Details
Martin issued this Limited Edition in honor of the Grand Ole Opry's 75th Anniversary. The polished ebony head plate with microphone inlay is especially well-done, and the off-white fingerboard with red letters closely copies the mike stand pedestals used onstage at the original Ryman Auditorium.
Although the Grand Ole Opry theme on the neck is eye-catching, this is not only a real guitar, it's a really good one with herringbone border and scalloped X top bracing that delivers that classic Martin rosewood Dreadnought tone and volume. The only sign of use that we can find is a slight wrinkle in the finish on the neck just above the heel, probably a reaction to the padding on the neck brace of a stand. (see close-up photos) Comes with original case.
