Details
There's a long list of special goodies on this Dana Bourgeois Signature model but let's start with most important ones, in this case the gorgeous book-matched "Reserve Grade" Madagascar rosewood back and sides and the torrefied Adirondack spruce top. Other things that you can't see are the torrefied bracing and bridge plate, and the fact that animal protein glue was used throughout. The special visual details include koa binding, Ziricote peghead veneer, bone bridge pins, well, you get the idea. Probably thanks in part to the dense Madagascar rosewood, this OM has a tone rich with natural reverb, and it delivers a captivating sound even when you play simple chord studies. There are a few small dings to the finish but they're the kind you have to search for in bright light. Frets have virtually no wear, and the case is equally close to perfect. Full spec sheet, case key, and truss rod wrench are in the accessory pocket.
