We love Taylors, both the guitars and the company, and they sure make a big deal about all the advancements they've made in recent years. And of course all the publicity about new bracing and neck construction can't mention that earlier Taylors, like this one from 1988, are fine sounding guitars that play easily and hold up well over time. This rosewood jumbo is a fine example and in both tone and volume it can hold its own next to the recent Taylor models. That's not saying it sounds the same as a new Taylor, but it sure sounds good with a remarkably balanced tone for sure a big guitar. And when it comes to volume, well... "no worries" is the best summary.
