It's hard to pin an exact year on this fine example of Gibson's top banjo-uke, but 1927/'28 is an educated guess (Gibson changed specs seemingly at will on these kinds of instruments). This is the cleanest and most original small-head Gibson UB-3 Gryphon has ever had. Thanks to the skin head, it has a lovely tone free of banjo harshness, instead it's snappy and fun and projects well so there's no need to bash on it.
