This 1925 Vega 11-inch Tubaphone shell is sporting a recently crafted figured maple neck built by engraver and luthier R.M. Anderson. The neck is based on Vega’s No. 3 level of ornamentation and features very crisp engraving that takes the standard patterns and adds a little extra fanciness. The heel is nicely carved with an acanthus leaf pattern, as well. This is a great sounding, easy playing open-back banjo with a clear, rining tone and plenty of projection. Includes a hardshell case.
