This Fender Jazz Bass has a neck date of April 7, 1965. Overall it’s in excellent structural and very good cosmetic condition. All of its wiring, including the pickups and the pots, appears to be original. The neck is straight and playable and the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is in good condition with no divots. The frets appear to be original and in good shape. There is some belt buckle wear to the back and a few nicks here and there but on the whole, the finish is in fine condition. The previous owner, who has passed away, engraved his social security on the neck plate. The original case is included but the hasp on one of the latches is missing. Sadly, the covers for the bridge and the pickup are long gone.
