Not because the original owner stopped playing guitar, far from it, but because he gravitated towards OM models, and electrics, to the point where we'd almost forgotten he used to play a Dreadnought.   This has that characteristic rosewood Collings D tone, plenty of bass but with the clarity and balance many such models from other builders lack.
