Details
There's Brazilian rosewood, then there's the colorful, quarter-sawn stuff you see here, which Collings gave their highest triple"aaa" grade over 20 years ago, which was when they had lots of Brazilian rosewood guitar sets to choose from. And the condition of this Collings CW is equally exceptional as except for light pick scuffs to the pickguard there are almost no signs of use, and the fret wear is barely noticeable (this came from an estate that included a collection of guitars, which explains the lack of use). The sound is equal parts Collings and Brazilian Dreadnought, a powerful combination. Looks, tone, volume, playability, this one has it all and the original hardshell case is equally clean.
