The classic tonewood combination of Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood produces that classic Martin dreadnought tone, with a rich, mellow bass and clear, ringing trebles. Note that this guitar has a nut width of 1 11\/16\", a little narrower than the current standard of 1 3\/4\". But this example really shines when you plug it in, as the previous owner went all in and had a Trance Amulet M-V pickup installed. When you try this one in the store, be sure to ask to try it plugged in.
