2013 Milagro Concert Series MRC-10 10-String Classical Guitar Used
Here’s something you don't see everyday, a 10-string Classical guitar. This Milagro Concert MRC10 was built in 2013 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. It has a solid cedar top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Milagro guitars are designed by luthier Neris Gonzalez and built in China under his direction. Includes the original hardshell case. This style of guitar was developed in the early 1960s by guitarist Narciso Yepes and Jose Ramirez III. The idea was to come up with an extended-range classical guitar that allowed the player to fret the extra bass strings, which was impossible on harp-guitars, which also had extra bass strings. The extra-wide fretboard allowed the musician to play lute music in the original keys with the original fingerings.
