This 526 Grand Symphony all-mahogany Taylor could almost pass for new but a close examination shows it has been carefully played. It has almost zero fret wear and a few very light scuffs to the finish on the back that don’t show up in the photographs. The combination of mahogany top on a Taylor this large results in a potent rhythm machine, delivering powerful "sock" chords when needed, but it also delivers a smooth chord strum for backing vocals as well. Oddly, the label in this guitar states that it’s a 516, but in Taylor nomenclature, the middle digit indicates the type of wood used in the top and a mahogany top model should have a 526 label. Includes the original case.
