Details
We're big fans of these Taylor 12-fret versions of their Grand Concert model. The combination of a shorter neck and the shorter scale moves your left hand a lot closer to your body and for some of us that results in more control and an improved ability to see what you're doing (since your hands are closer together). Another plus is that moving the bridge down closer to the center of the lower bout (the most active portion of the soundboard) results in a warmer, bigger sound than you'd expect from this relatively small size. This example has seen light use, there's barely any fret wear and the pickguard has only light finger scuffs. There are two small dings to the top (see photo) but that's about it for wear.
