Details
The LoPrinzi Model A is handmade in Clearwater, Florida, by Donna LoPrinzi, the daughter of Augustino LoPrinzi. She moved into the family business at an early age, learning from her father, a well-respected luthier who has been building fretted instruments since the late 1950s. This Model A is crafted from figured, solid maple, which has been stained a light walnut color, which really makes the curl in the wood pop. This uke is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition and it has a clear, focused tone with lots of volume. It is fitted with a MiSi pickup and includes a semi-hardshell case.
