This 2016 Figured Rosewood Artisan Stratocaster is yet another limited run beauty from Fender’s Custom Shop. It has a roasted Fiji mahogany body with a figured rosewood top and a lacquer finish. The neck is a one-piece medium-roast AAA birdseye maple neck with a ’63 Strat “C” profile, 6105 frets and 9.5” -12" compound fingerboard radius. All of the hardware is gold plated and the pickguard is gold anodized aluminum. It’s fitted with three hand-wound Fender 60/63 pickups with a reverse-wound/reverse- polarity middle pickup. The five way switch is set up with Vintage Modified wiring, which connects the middle pickup to the first tone control. The master volume includes Fender’s Tone-Saver treble-bleed circuit, which ensures your tone remains unchanged when you turn down the volume. This particular Strat is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition and shows just the slightest signs of having been played. Includes the original black rectangular hardshell case, COA and other bits of case candy.
