This striking Les Paul was crafted in Gibson’s Custom Shop in 2016. It’s part of a limited run of 25 guitars. This instrument features Gibson’s “painted over” finish and this example has a moderately aged Black over Kerry Green color scheme. (In 2017 Gibson offered a version in their Painted Over series that was the reverse color scheme with Kerry Green over a dark finish.) The guitar itself is a 1960-style with a slim but not too skinny neck, Custom Bucker pickups and the traditional mahogany body with a carved maple top. It does show a hint of fret wear but otherwise is in excellent condition. It weighs in at 8.8 lbs, which is not bad for a Les Paul. Includes the original case, which is also lightly aged and the COA.
