Details
Thanks in part to the X-braced top with oval soundhole this mandola has a pleasantly gutsy bottom end, making it great for rhythm playing when you want to add some bass response to a group or when backing a vocalist. Lovely curly maple back & sides with matching one-piece curly maple neck. We've sold a number of Bill Bussman's mandolins over the years and they have a reputation of holding up well.
This mandola has one scratch to the finish on the back (see photos), and a few small fingernail dings to the finish just below 1st string. No noticeable fret wear.
