Details
This California TM bass was crafted in Germany in 2018 by Sandberg, a small company founded in 1986 by friends Holger Stonjek and Gerd Gorzelke. The company is named after the street this factory was located, Am Sandberg. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The body is made of European ash with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. It’s fitted with a Delano JMVC single coil pickup in the neck position and a Delano MCFE humbucker bridge pickup with a split coil option. The controls include Sandberg 2-Band EQ with a passive tone control. This is a very versatile bass that combines a bit of Fender Jazz Bass, a bit of Music Man Stingray with a large helping of German ingenuity. Includes the original Sandberg gig bag.
