Details
The Fender Telecaster is one of the rare guitars that was basically perfect when it was released in the early 1950s. It’s hard to think of a way to improve the classic design but with the American Elite Telecaster, Fender has tweaked the specs in a thoughtful way. It’s fitted with a pair of fourth-generation Fender Noiseless single-coil pickups which a lot of the familiar twang without the 60 cycle hum the original pickups were heir to. The neck has a 9.5"-14" compound-radius fretboard, which is very comfortable. It also has a belly carve on the back, a feature borrowed from its sibling, the Stratocaster. This example was crafted in 2019 and it’s in excellent, lightly played condition. There is just a hint of fret wear. Include the original hardshell case.
