This DF is named for Iris co-founder Dale Fairbanks and it’s a great sounding slope-shouldered dreadnought that has strong 1940s J-45 vibes. It has an Adirondack spruce top, an optional upgrade, and mahogany back and sides, a small straight bridge and scalloped braces. It has a 25” scale length and 1 ¾” nut width. This DF has a satin finish. It has a warm but focused tone with a nice balance of bass to treble. This example was made in 2022 and it’s in almost perfect, unplayed condition. Other upgrades include the sunburst top and ivoroid binding. Includes a hardshell case.
