Details
A very solid and fully functional Paramount tenor that's been refinished, and has new gears, so it's not for the collector but sure works well for the tenor banjo player as the neck is nice and straight. Lots of cool original parts, such as the full set of Paramount "fire hose nozzle" nuts, Paramount tailpiece, and heavy armrest. The back of the headstock has lots of repaired holes from earlier tuners, as the original Paramount tuners were cast pot-metal that exploded with the slightest knock and were held in place with lots of screws. The H & K tuners on it now work far better! If you want a good-sounding tenor from the Jazz Age that you don't have to pamper or worry about, this Paramount is a great choice.
