This is an excellent example of ODE’s early work and it features the cast aluminum pot with an integral arch-top tone ring the Ogsbury developed in 1960. It has the long, 32 ¼-inch scale length that was popular during the Folk Revival. It has three-piece walnut and maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. Overall this banjo is in fine structural and cosmetic condition. It still has all of its original parts include the Grover Sta-Tite tuning machines and the Ogsbury-designed tailpiece. We did change the original ODE-branded head because it was very worn but we are including it because if you look carefully you can see Pete Seeger signed it. It include the original Lifton hardshell case, which is in equally clean condition. \r\u003cbr\u003e","brand":"Ode","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46573507313863,"sku":"ODE21LONG-520","price":1150.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0503\/4947\/3991\/files\/1421881.jpg?v=1780487976","url":"https:\/\/www.gryphonstrings.com\/products\/circa-1962-ode-model-21-long-neck-5-string-banjo-used-25393","provider":"Gryphon Strings","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
