The nut measures 50mm (about 1 7\/8”) and  the fretboard has a radius, two features that help make this feel familiar to a steel string guitarist. In a nod to the Maccaferri-style guitars that Django and other Gypsy jazz musicians played over the years, the Daimen has a large, oblong soundhole.
