We opted to go with a Torrefied Sitka Spruce Top (what Martin calls \"VTS\") and Rosewood back and sides. This traditional tonewood pairing offers a complex, rich tone with tons of dynamic range. The subtle sunburst top with maple binding and herringbone purfling is a beautiful combination,, and the bound fingerboard has slightly rolled edges that increase your left-hand comfort.
