Details
With the Firefly, the Santa Cruz Guitar Company has created one of easiest-playing and sweetest-sounding small-sized acoustic guitars that we have ever played. This version has a cedar top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a subtle sunburst finish. The cedar top is very responsive and when fingerpicked it produces clear high-end sparkle with a surprising amount of volume for such a small guitar. While it doesn’t have the oomph to drive a bluegrass band, it sounds great when flatpicked. Its 24-inch scale length is easy on the hands and makes chords and scales that are hard to reach on large guitars a breeze to finger. Includes a substantial hardshell case.
