Details
Built with the traditional Flamenco musician in mind, the Rosa Blanca delivers a powerfully percussive tone with wonderful balance and projection. The guitar gets its name, Blanca being the Spanish word for white, from the fact that it features distinctive lightly colored tonewoods: Spruce and Cypress. Heralded for their clarity and brightness, both Cypress and Spruce are revered by Flamenco artists for the above-mentioned virtues, and as a result, is the most common tone-wood pairing on Flamenco guitars. As for the instrument’s cosmetics, Kremona went for a less-is-more approach, choosing instead to let the wood's natural beauty speak for itself. The deep black ebony fingerboard creates a nice contrast with the light-colored natural spruce top, and the hand-inlaid wood rosette provides a subtle lift to the otherwise unadorned top. With this model, Kremona have really outdone themselves, delivering an all-solid wood European hand-crafted guitar built by and for traditional Flamenco enthusiasts!
