Details
This is one of the cleanest and most original examples of a post-war LG-1 we’ve had, and it has the classic 1950s C-shape neck profile that sends fans of Gibson electrics from this period swooning. Amazingly, this guitar has no finish checking whatsoever—a rarity for post-WWII Gibsons, where finish checking is nearly a given (this is largely thanks to a relatively thin finish on this example).
Original nut, pickguard, and narrow rectangular bridge. Original Kluson tuners but celluloid buttons have been replaced with correct style. Frets show almost no wear. This has a bright chiming tone that's distinctly different than X-braced Gibson models, and it's very easy to play.
