Details
This 1995 Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee is one of the earlier examples of the model, back when they were still doing the hardtail, SSS setup. Finished in a vibrant transparent red, you get a great look at the grain of the ash body. The Albert Lee models of this era are lightweight, super comfortable, and have that fast, slick Music Man neck feel. The SSS configuration offers lots of chime and clarity but with a bit more output and midrange than a traditional Strat-style set, which gives you a more Tele-sounding bridge pickup as well. The hardtail bridge keeps everything stable and adds a nice immediacy to the attack. Condition-wise, it’s very clean for a nearly 30-year-old instrument. Just light signs of playwear, no structural issues, and the frets are in great shape. If you want a unique, great-playing ’90s Music Man that stands out from the crowd, this is a fantastic option. It comes with a hardshell case.
