Details
This 2002 Huss and Dalton TD-M delivers everything you’d expect from a mahogany backed dreadnought – volume & punch. With a delightfully balanced tone, this guitar has a focused and clear projection that makes it the perfect platform for flatpicking. Sporting a modified “V” neck profile and a 1 23/32” nut width, this vintage-meet-modern compromise blends the feel of an old dreadnought with some modern quality of life improvements, resulting in a guitar that feels both familiar and a joy to play.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in great condition, especially considering that it is now 20+ years old. While it was well maintained by its previous owner, the guitar does show signs of wear and play, as evidenced by the scratches on the rosewood veneer of the headstock, which were likely caused by years of restringing. Additionally, there are some small instances of wear (dings/tiny scratches) located throughout the top, back and sides of the guitar. We recently completely re-fretted the guitar with entirely new stainless-steel frets, so it is unlikely to need any additional fretwork anytime in the foreseeable future.
