Details
This 2004 Custom Shop Les Paul SG was modeled after one of those early transition guitars from 1961. Being a 22-year-old guitar, this one has much of the broken-in appeal you might find on a vintage one. The color is vintage-correct, the finish has settled perfectly, and it has some of the aged patina on the hardware that makes it feel like a ‘60s instrument. The back of the neck has a classic slim taper, and the wide 1 11/16” nut width really makes it feel like a ’61 neck. This one has two 57 Classic humbucking pickups, which are modeled after highly sought after PAF pickups, and have an airy and clear, but full and beefy sound. This one has been meticulously cared for and is very clean. The frets are in great shape as well, and have only a bit of playwear. If you are after a killer example of a Les Paul SG, this one checks all the boxes. It comes with its original hardshell case, COA, and other case candy.
