Fender has offered a handful of “fancier” takes on their MIM guitars over the years, and this very lightly used Deluxe Player’s Stratocaster is a great example. It’s a super clean option for just about any player looking for a solid, great-sounding Strat. The pickups are Fender’s patented Noiseless pickups, which are undeniably Strat-sounding while cutting out the usual 60 cycle single coil hum. Other upgrades include an ash body, with grain visible through the transparent finish, along with vintage-style tuning machines, gold hardware, and a 12” radius fingerboard for a slightly more modern feel. The push/push switch between the tone knobs engages the bridge pickup in any position, giving you all seven pickup combinations. Even though this guitar is from 2014, it’s been very well cared for, showing almost no signs of playwear and no noticeable fretwear. For someone looking for an almost-new MIM Strat at a great price, this one is perfect. It comes with an added hardshell case.
