Details
This Wildwood Balladeer was made around 2015 and it’s in excellent, lightly played condition. There's almost no fret wear, no finger scuffs to what we assume is the original Elite head, and no nicks or dings to the finish. The block rim construction and Vega-style bracket band and Tubaphone tone ring make this a loud banjo, one you won't have to play hard to get plenty of volume for any setting. Mark Platin, since retired, made these West Coast open backs for half a century. We love the bird-themed fingerboard inlay nicely figured 2-piece maple neck.
