If you're looking for a sweet, unique 12-string, this one might be the perfect fit. Custom ordered through Martin’s Custom Shop, it’s built on the body of the cult-classic CEO-7, a slope-shoulder 00-size guitar known for its vintage charm and balanced tone. Like its 6-string counterpart, this model features an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, along with the same no-frills aesthetic and simple antique white body binding. What sets it apart is the 12-fret-to-body construction, which gives it a more traditional Martin 00 feel. This design not only makes the guitar more compact and comfortable to play, but also allows the soundboard to move more freely, enhancing volume and projection, qualities that suit a 12-string beautifully. It delivers the rich, chimey texture you’d expect, but with more clarity and warmth than most smaller-bodied 12-strings. The MLO neck shape adds to its playability, and the all-black finish with a grained ivoroid pickguard gives it a sleek, classy look. This guitar is in excellent condition with no noticeable wear and comes with its original hardshell case.
