Details
The 000-15M is one of our favorite Martin models as they can't be beat when it comes to sound and playability, plus that made-in-Nazareth vibe, and at a very reasonable price. This example from a few years ago has seen its satin finish rubbed a little bit more glossy on the neck barrel and around the edge of the pickguard, but the player apparently was extremely careful so that's about the only sign of playing wear (the slight fret wear is hard to see, so along with being careful they also had a very light touch).
When Martin introduced the all-mahogany 15 Series, 85 years ago, a footnote at the bottom of the catalog page read: "Many styles, one quality." When you play this modern version, which is little changed except for the addition of an adjustable truss rod in the neck and better tuners, you realize Martin's understatement was spot-on.
