Details
This Custom Shop 12-fret D-18 has a host of special features, primarily the "sinker mahogany" used for the back, sides, and neck. And don't forget the Adirondack top! For visuals you not only get the dark 1935-style sunburst, but the mahogany back has lots of nice figure in the center as well.
This is a big guitar, there's no shortage of room-filling volume or bass response, and it has a Baggs Hi-Fi pickup with soundhole-lip controls for when you need even more. There's very little playing wear, just a ding or two to the finish on the top. Check our photos, there was some finish damage to the tail wedge when the endpin jack was installed (not by Gryphon!).
